Product Links, Explained

A link can identify a seller item, an agent view, a shop or only a shortened address. Read the destination before carrying the find into an order.

Seller item versus agent wrapper

A marketplace item URL and an agent-wrapped URL may point toward the same offer while carrying different context. If a copied address opens only a homepage or blank page, look for the seller item details rather than assuming the goods disappeared.

A seller item URL and an agent wrapper can carry different context even when both lead toward the same goods.

Item identifiers and variant selection

An item identifier narrows a listing, but an order still needs the intended colour, size, quantity or other variant. Those choices may not survive a link copied from a spreadsheet preview.

Short links hide the useful item identifier until opened; save the destination and chosen variant.

Shop links and shortened links

A shop link shows a seller’s collection, not one product. Short links can hide the underlying destination. Open the address and identify the actual item before comparing it with another find.

For an older agent link, use the seller title, item ID or listing image to recover the original product context.

Old-agent links and lost context

Older agent links sometimes stop resolving or omit the original seller reference. A product title, seller name or item image can often help you locate a current seller listing when an older URL no longer resolves.

Handling many links together is helpful only after you know which seller items and variants those links represent.

Bulk links, extensions and API-style converters: capabilities and limits

Extensions, bulk tools and APIs can help reorganize URLs, but always open the current seller listing before placing an order. For several candidate URLs, compare the actual seller items before copying a batch into an order.

A short link or bulk import still needs a current seller page and the intended option before checkout.
