From Warehouse to Parcel

Goods arrive as separate item records. A parcel is created only when selected goods are prepared for international delivery.

Arrival is not parcel dispatch

A seller delivery reaching a warehouse is not an international shipment. Keep each arrival tied to its own order so you can see which items are ready and which may still be on the way.

Storage information and deadlines belong to current account terms; an arriving item is not yet a finished parcel.

Storage records and deadlines

Storage information belongs to the agent and your current account or help terms. If a decision is time-sensitive, read the relevant item record before waiting for another seller arrival.

Items arriving at different times may need separate parcel decisions even when they came from one saved list.

Consolidate or split

Combine goods when they can travel together under the available service conditions. Split goods when size, fragility, restrictions or timing make one parcel a poor fit. One combined box is not automatically cheaper or safer.

A warehouse transfer adds a handoff; keep the seller order and receiving record available.

Packaging and protection choices

Packaging changes protection and parcel size. A sturdy box, reduced outer packaging or separate handling for fragile items can change both protection and parcel size. Choose the option that fits the goods and shipping route.

Extra protection and removed packaging may affect size as well as protection; the right choice depends on the goods.

Rehearsal and measured parcel information

Rehearsal or other pre-shipping preparation may produce more useful packed measurements where a service offers it. Compare the resulting information with the earlier planning estimate instead of treating the old item weights as final.

Where rehearsal is offered, packed measurements can be more useful than early item-weight assumptions.

Warehouse transfers and remaining questions

A warehouse transfer or forwarded arrival creates another handoff to understand. Save the item and parcel references separately so a missing goods question reaches the right record.
